Strata Management

The firm regularly advices Joint Management Bodies and Management Corporations in matters on a retainer basis in relation to strata management issues. This includes matters such as:

• Recovery of monies from defaulters
• Charges and contributions to the maintenance and sinking fund account
• Inter-floor leakage issues in the development
• House rules, by-laws and such other policies governing the development
• Reviewing of contracts entered into with service providers
• Organizing Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings

In addition, the firm has regularly acted and represented Joint Management Bodies and Management Corporations in Court proceedings relating to disputes arising from strata management issues.
