Ashley Ko

Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London in 2017. Thereafter she obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2019. After completing her pupillage, she was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in January 2021 and has been in active practice since.

Ashley initially practised in general litigation before transitioning to corporate practice. Her primary practice focuses on structuring, executing, and managing various corporate transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A, debt financing and investment instruments, put and call option arrangements, corporate governance matters, and related contractual arrangements. Her practice also extends to general contract drafting across diverse industries and regulatory compliance advisory.

Outside of the office and during the weekends, Ashley is a painting enthusiastic who spends her time doing canvas and indoor mural paintings, bringing the same creativity and attention to detail to her art as she does to her practice.
