Yuk Meng holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London and was called to the Malaysian Bar in February 2025. He first joined JFP as a paralegal and subsequently commenced his pupillage under the tutelage of Lim Yin Faye. During his time as a paralegal and pupil-in-chambers, Yuk Meng was exposed to general litigation matters, real estate transactions and also corporate drafting / advisory.
Yuk Meng’s current portfolio comprises of general civil litigation matters with a specific focus in construction and matrimonial disputes. He is particularly drawn to the dynamic nature of litigation, where each case presents unique challenges that demand critical thinking, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of both procedural and substantive law.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Yuk Meng enjoys drinking coffee and playing musical instruments.
Yuk Meng is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Cantonese and Hakka.
