Justin Ong

Partner

Justin is a partner of the firm and has been in practice for more than 14 years. He specializes in dispute resolution and is an experienced litigator. Justin is also the author and commentator of the Malaysian edition of the Annotated Statutes of the Debtors Act 1957 which deals with the procedure relating to debt recovery in Malaysia.

His core practice focuses on commercial and corporate related disputes, including advising clients in matters of liquidation, debt recovery, shareholder / partnership disputes and boardroom disputes. As part of his diverse practice portfolio, Justin also advises clients on matters relating to employment law and strata management law.

In addition, Justin is also a registered trademark agent and regularly advices clients on matters relating to trademark in Malaysia.

As part of his commitment to ensuring that the legal profession maintains a high professional standard, Justin also regularly sits on Disciplinary Committees convened by the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board to hear complaints relating to misconduct by lawyers.
